I agree, thanks for the link!
And finally...
Quote: Say Anything. No, Really... John is quick to clarify a previous comment implying that only about three out of 10 films he makes are good. "I said, 'Out of 45 movies, I've done 10 or 15 that are good, and some of them have good things in them but don't quite work, and some are bad. And that's different from saying, 'I've only made 10 good films and all the rest suck.' But I think it's true that it's hard to make something good. You can make something that has good things in it, but to make something really good is not easy."

Haven't read it yet, but here's some info on the book:

For some reason, the bbcode for links won't work I fixed it for you, ails. -- Miranda
I think its a good book, and maybe I'd buy it some time. Wow, John sure has good picks. I think his intellect makes him unique among his co-actors, don't you think?
From the interview link:
Quote: "I would love to be in [Cormac McCarthy's] The Road and adapt that book, but I think somebody else has it."
Umm...yeah, that's true. From the above link, it says: "A film based on the novel was announced to be in development on April 2, 2007. John Hillcoat is set to direct, and the adaptation will be handled by Joe Penhall." Here are movie info links:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0898367/
How I wish John got to adapt the film first. But still, maybe the movie will be good considering they'll adapt a Pulitzer Prize awarded novel.

Yay, we have the same taste in television, it seems. I think I would pass out if he went on The Colbert Report. That would just be too much awesome to handle, for me.

Good interview, thanks!:)
I tried that test on the end about who's your movie star boyfriend and got Adam Sandler. I found that pointless, since he's already married.

I've read it and I would recommend it. It's depressing, bleak, sad, scary, realistic (or what I imagine it will really be like when someone finally blows us all up) and very very good.
This is a review that I completely agree with.

Sandler has been married about 4 years and has a baby too. I vaguely remember when he got married. I think his dog was in his wedding.

That's really scary. Actually, I sort of have this apocalyptic view of the future. It's really annoying that today, there's too much pollution and resources are getting used up. There's also global warming. Man is destroying the earth and I fear that our generation might reach that point

Have you seen the movie The Day After Tomarrow?

I just find that movie fascinating, especially when a crap load of tornado's hit LA.
